Dr. Robert B. Moore is Professor of Chemistry at Virginia Tech University. He has been an instructor with the American Chemical Society since 2008. He is a an Fellow, Fellow Polymer Chemistry Division of the ACS, and Councilor for the Polymer Chemistry Division of the ACS.

Professor Moore has 26 years of academic experience in the field of Polymer Physical Chemistry. Before moving to Virginia Tech, he served for 17 years on the faculty of the Department of Polymer Science at the University of Southern Mississippi. He has given over 145 invited lectures and authored over 220 publications (with over 5,900 citations).
Dr. Moore received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 1988, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
